Saturday, September 5, 2009. I went to a crop tonight and worked on Christmas things. This card was an inspiration. I love textured paper, I love ribbon, I love mix and matching black and white patterns.

Breakfast on the Go

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Next Tuesday is the first day of Preschool here at First Presbyterian Church. I will be greeting parents and children in the morning. As the parents leave I will give each of them a "Breakfast on the Go" bag. The bag contains a single-serving bottle of orange juice, a muffin, granola bar, wet wipe and a booklet of prayers for families. There are mealtime prayers for home and prayers especially written for those times when we eat in our cars. The library pocket on the outside of the bag contains a note from the Pastor an me welcoming the families to our church.

I made three of these last night (pink, blue and green) 2 as birthday gifts for coworkers and 1 for a friend who is undergoing chemo. The set includes body butter, bath salts, bubble bath, body wash, lip balm, chamomile tea, chocolates and a candle.

Water Bottle

This is one of the water bottles I made for our choirs on Christmas. The little pocket on the front of the bottle held a lemonade packet. I'm not sure where that went!

Folder Album

January 7, 2008. Sadly a family from our church is moving to San Antonio :-( I had fun making them this "folder album" with lists of restaurants, attractions, shopping, services etc. It's the first time I've made something like this so of course I wish I had time to re-so it. There are a lot of things I would do differently. But it was fun!
