Breakfast on the Go

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Next Tuesday is the first day of Preschool here at First Presbyterian Church. I will be greeting parents and children in the morning. As the parents leave I will give each of them a "Breakfast on the Go" bag. The bag contains a single-serving bottle of orange juice, a muffin, granola bar, wet wipe and a booklet of prayers for families. There are mealtime prayers for home and prayers especially written for those times when we eat in our cars. The library pocket on the outside of the bag contains a note from the Pastor an me welcoming the families to our church.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009. These are fun little "pails" for the Sunday School Teachers. Each one has a juice box, a cereal bar and a set of prayers inside.
